It’s not the action of a hand that Jesus is primarily concerned about but it’s the thought process behind the action that matters. A. Anger – Matthew 5:22a B. “Raca” – Matthew 5:22b C. “You fool!” – Matthew 5:22c Application: How do we deal with anger? 1. Anger – Forgive as we have been forgiven. 2. “Raca” – Don’t call people names. 3. “You fool!” – Don’t gossip and don’t listen to gossip. Conclusion: Holiness does not have to do with “perfection.” It has to do with “intention.”
